AiMeiMei
AiMeiMei is a two-part intelligent photo assistant toolkit designed to enhance both the image capturing and image editing experience using advanced AI models. Built with Python and optimized for GPU environments, this suite is ideal for photography learners, tourists, and content creators seeking smart feedback and editing tools.
AiMeiMei was completed as part of my Computer Vision class during my Master’s studies at NUS, in collaboration with a team of five. As Lead Developer, I directed the development of the full system, contributing ~75% of the codebase. I implemented all major features, including model integration (SPAQ, YOLO, SAM, LaMa, ControlNet), a real-time feedback system, a PyQt-based interface, aesthetic and realism scoring modules, and the complete image editing pipeline. I oversaw feature design, coding, optimization, and end-to-end system integration.
